Braised Daikon and Chicken Wing

There is a little hint for this dish: before cooking the dish, marinate the chicken wings and pan-fry it in order to keep the juice. By doing this, the result will make you amaze.

400g Daikon, cut into pieces

10 Chicken wings

1 Carrot, cut into pieces

1/2 Onion, cut into pieces

3 slices Ginger

3 tbsp Dark soy sauce

3 tbsp Light soy sauce

1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine

1 tbsp Garlic, minced

1 tbsp Rock sugar

1 tsp Sesame oil

1 tsp Sugar

Salt and ground white pepper

Green onion, chopped

    1. Marinate the chicken wings with dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, salt and ground white pepper for 30 minutes.
    2. In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add ginger, garlic and sauté until fragrant.
    3. Pan-fry the chicken wings until golden brown.
    4. Add daikon, onion, carrot and stir-fry. Add the remaining dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, rock sugar and some water. Bring to boil.
    5. Cover with lid and cook for 20 minute or until daikon is soft.
    6. Transfer to plate, sprinkle with green onion and ready to serve.
